Theodore "Teddy" is our Bar-N pony and was our first horse.. He was a rescue that we adopted in December of 2002 while living in Arizona. Teddy is full of personality, great with kids, and is a sure-footed trail horse.
Shadow is a beautiful Bay Arabian that we rescued and adopted in the Fall of 2007 while living in Colorado. He is the calmest and sweetest guy. He is so gentle that all of my kids can ride him. He is such a blessing to us!
Edward (the Strong) is a rescue that we adopted while living in Arizona. We have had him since July 2006. He is a gentle guy and has been very good for my oldest son to ride in 4-H. He is also broke to cart.
Ultra Mycall Jacksum ("Mikey") is our beautiful miniature stallion. Born in 2001, he is both AMHA and AMHR registered. His pedigree includes names like Blue Boy and Bond Show Boy. He has beautiful movement and is a real showoff.
He is very gentle and easy to handle for a stallion. We started ground driving him in the summer of 2008 and and he is now pulling a cart!

Jones Eks Hot Shots Applauzz
"Applauzz" was born in 1996 and drives a cart very well! She is very mellow, sweet and easy to handle. She is great with the kids and fun to play with. She gave birth to our first mini foal in March of 2008! She was bred to Chance of Golds Don Juan, owned by Painted Sun Miniature Horses. She is a great mommy! She is hopefully in foal to our stallion, Mikey, for a Fall 2009 baby!

Diann's Kit
Born 1995, Kit came to us with her sister Katie in the Fall of 2008. Kit is a beautiful pinto mare with great blood lines like Komokos. She's fun to drive and is great with the kids.

Diann's Katie
Born 1994, Katie came to us with her sister Kit in the Fall of 2008. Katie is our most gentle mare with great blood lines like Komokos. All my kids love her. She pulls a cart and is very fun to drive. My two-year old little girl loves to ride around on her.

When we moved to Pagosa Springs, Colorado, bringing our ark of animals with us, we had to adjust to having more seasons than just hot and not so hot. We also needed to protect our investment in hay since there is a lot more rain here than back in Arizona!
We knew we needed a barn, so we started planning around October of 2007 and by Thanksgiving, we were pretty much done. The design, oversight, and a majority of the construction work was done by Aimee's father, Carl Mellberg, a builder by trade. It was his idea to do a pole barn with tree-bark plank siding.
We also were blessed by friends from Hope Reformed Evangelical Church in Aztec, New Mexico, who came and helped us 'raise the barn'. Thank you, David Bounds, Bo Skeen, and Tom Stamper. They brought their sons to work along side Carl, his son-in-law Ralph, and grandsons Daniel and Josiah, so it was truly a father and son and grandson project! Much thanks are due to many others who pitched in throughout the project: Carol Mellberg, Aimee Cabrera, and others.
